TO BLACK AND WHITE

Monday, 21 January 2013

I am one of those birds what has to have their talons tarted up all the bloody time and I'm sure I'm not the only one. If I leave the house without having applied a layer of laquer I feel nakie and as such my pals have bore witness to me perilously painting my pointers on buses, tubes and the backs of cabs. On the rare occasion that I find myself with time to paint them properly I like to get all creative on my claws - dots, decals and glitter as standard - however being a WAH Nails girl on a Barry M budget means that I'm usually a little limited in my options. Until now.

Granted the 'crackle' polishes are hardly cutting edge but TBH I've never been a huge fan of them, even whilst they were the nail-effect du jour. Imagine my elation when I unwrapped Barry M's 316 Nail Effects on Christmas Day. Not. A gift from my skin and blister I thought I'd better give it a go and decided to double up my digits with a bit of white-on-white action. Behold dear readers the magnificence of my minimal monochrome mishap. Subtle, sleek and totally on trend I'm defo going to be getting these out over LFW.

How do YOU make your crackle polish pop???

  1. I love the white one! Such a good idea I never thought to wear a crackle over the same colour polish! I wore a white over a silver glitter once it looked pretty cool :) xo
