So LFW Day #2 is going down in history as one of my most favouritist days, like EVER. Not only did I form strong bonds with blogger babes by the name of Laura, Jodie and Kavita I was also lucky enough to attend the Rihanna for River Island show. Haters gon' hate. Etc.

Having downed my body weight in bubbles with the gorge Ugg girls at their LFW lounge I tipsily tottered down to New Oxford St only to be met by the mofo of all queues. But whilst celebs, bloggers, buyers and press jostled for priority entry a very jammy little moi joined Ms Whalebone who had only gone and bagged us a spot up front, the ledge, and before you could say SOS we were in.

From the second I set foot inside the Old Sorting Office there was no doubt that we had the hottest ticket in town. Oh haiiiii Cara, Jourdan, TYSON. Fish out of water much?!?! Once I had picked my jaw up from the floor and filled up on Dutch courage (aka Moscow Mules) Laura and I began to schmooze - Dunn, Delevingne, Delilah, Azalea and La Havas - all of whom were incredibly friendly and incredibly FIT.

Lights dimmed and it was time to take our places but there was no runway for Ri, nope, instead a five-tiered squared structure was to house the Bajan babes creations. As the intro to Clique pounded through the crowd it felt more like a rave-up than a show and as model number one took her position rave we bloody well did. The collection oozed Rihanna from the thigh-high splits on figure-hugging dresses to denim shirts tied below hips, butter soft leather baseball jackets to 90's inspired cropped tops. Vibrant reds, yellows and floral prints provided pops of colour amongst the muted black and greys of the collection and all looks were accessorised with a ghetto gold hoops and body chains.  Sexy. Street. SWAG.

Groundbreaking? No. Gorgeous? Definitely. I for one look forward to rocking Ri's skin-tight maxi with Timbs and a gangsta lean come March 5th. Thank you River Island for inviting me out to play. Twas da bomb. #PhuckYoRunway.

Pre-Ri my day was what most folks would refer to as chokka. First up was Bernard Chandran whose AW13 collection was inspired by 1950's model Dovima, a woman who exuded effortless glamour and elegance. Sleek lines, cocoon silhouettes, tapered trousers and narrow fitted dresses were given a twist with block coloured patent leather, digital printed silk, fur trimmings and a sea of sequins. Set to Herrmann's haunting Twisted Nerve the show was spellbinding and the collection superb. Chandran done did it again.

Feasting on fashion is thirsty work and so the girls and I decided to make a pit-stop and re-charge with the gorgeous gang from UGG. Situated in the penthouse suite of the ME Hotel overlooking all the action at Somerset House the UGG Comfort Lounge was incredible. Not only were we showered with snacks, champers, beauty treatments and a complimentary pair of UGG slippers the girls from UGG are absolute babes and made us feel right at home. Maybe too at home in fact - we didn't want to leave - especially after spotting HRH VB, Donatella Versace and Grace Coddington in the suite across the balcony! *faints*

Hopping into a rickshaw with the ever-so-fabulous Leroy I headed back to Freemasons Hall for my penultimate show of day dos, the delectable Ashley Isham. In black PVC visors and skin-tight vinyl leggings Isham's models were given a dose of the dominatrix as they took to the runway. Walloping us with opulently embellished maxi dresses and modern military style jackets, tropical floral prints and uber-cool capes, subtle structured peplums and draped jersey, Isham's AW13 collection was an enjoyable assault on the senses. A beautiful game of two halves.

Did YOU have a crazy day two too???
