COATIGAN: NEXT // VINTAGE JACKET: WASTELAND // MIDI DRESS: GIRL STOLE (COMING SOON) // NECKLACE: H&M
And we're off!!! London Fashion Week has arrived with a big ol' fabulous bang and with it the big ol' burning question - WHAT TO BLOODY WEAR?!?!?!
As it's my first ever fashwa week I spent a sizeable amount of time this morning in a mild state of panic trying to pick out the ideal ensemble. After much trying and almost crying I decided to stick to my style psalm - 'when in doubt, get your basics out'. Oozing a comfy cool vibe this GIRL STOLE black midi dress teamed with a vintage jacket and a slick of red has maximum impact with minimum effort. My fave.
Cantering between the cobbles of Somerset House and the marble of Freemasons will take it's tole on even the most seasoned of LFW tootsies. Sturdy yet snug my River Island lace-ups did a sterling job of getting me from A to B without so much as the threat of an aching arch let alone a blister. As for the bag I am befuddled as to how folk manage to cram their fashion week lives into a clutch. A clutch?! An oldie but goodie my large leather Topshop tote circa 2008 could give Mary Poppins' bottomless bag a run for its money let me tell you!
Not the most adventurous of outfits at LFW today by a long shot but I still felt FROW worthy by keeping it simple and slick.
