ALIVE WITH WILD FLOWERS

OMBRE FLORAL TOP: H&M  //  OMBRE FLORAL TROUSERS: H&M  //  NECKLACE: H&M  //  SHOES: ZARA

On Saturday the unthinkable happened. Not only did the sun come out - allowing me to remove my coat without fear of smuggling for the fist time in 2013 - I also attended a wedding minus date and didn't contemplate hanging myself from the church rafters. Serious tings. Instead of being consumed by the raw loneliness of a woman whose life is destined for meals for one and industrial-sized dildos I felt nothing but the intense warming of my cockles. That's right readers. Lolli is back in love with the yucky love stuff. Boom.

Choosing a wedding-worthy-wardrobe however didn't leave me feeling so warm and fuzzy. With the weather being the vilest of vile a dress was massively out of the question and having been in hibernation for what felt like a decade my arse had decided to expand to elephant-esque proportions. Nothing fit me anymore. Awesome. Just as I was on the brink of cutting holes in a black bag Lereese lovingly offered to lend me her hot-to-trot H&M ombre floral suit. What a ledge.

Flirty floral print on a smart tee and trouser suit. It's almost as if H&M knew I had Springtime nuptials to attend. Letting the ombre apparel do all the talking I kept my accessories simple and slick with a mirrored necklace, comfy Zara kitten heels, pink pout and polish. I also covered up in a white wollen coat pictured here which I unearthed in the elusive Primark sale rail for TEN WHOLE POUNDS!!! Love at first sight. Of the price tag.

These H&M pieces are indeed the perfect pair but nowhere near as perfect as the wonderful wedded couple themselves. I want to dedicate this post to the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Gibson whose day was more than special, it was spectacular. Thanks for having me Katie and Ryan. Love you more than a 'One Pound Fish'.

How would YOU style this floral suit???
