Notting Hill Carnival is as much a permanent fixture on my calendar as Christmas or National Hug-A-Ginger Day (natch). For 48 hours my ends play host to Europe's largest street party and is littered with millions of scantily clad, fun-loving folk eager to get their Caribbean-infused groove, grub and good times on. And so as per this weekend armed with my crew dem and Sir Morgan of Spiced I set off to join them.
Carnival Sunday may very well be dubbed as 'Kid's Day' but there was nowt child-friendly about the moves I was about to buss. Deciding to go gangsta wid it I chucked on my trusty Blitz London men's checked shirt over a bodycon mini and accessorised with a ghetto gold curb chain, midi rings and did my nails in a Jamaican stylee. Having neglected my Sam Edelman lovelies for the majority of summer twas only fair I brought them out to Sassa Step through Ladbroke Grove. BRUK IT UP.
