I'd being looking forward to Day 2 of London Fashion Week the mostest and so what better day would there be for me to be struck down with the lurg. Despite getting dolled up in my LFW finery and boarding the tube I had to admit defeat by station numero three and begrudgingly make my way back to my yard. FML. After having a lickle pity weep to myself I grabbed my laptop and duvet determined that if I couldn't be sat FROW for my scheduled shows I'd most def be sitting SOFA.

First up was the Orla Kiely SS14 Presentation a journey into Africa on the chicest safari ever. Functional aspects such as utilitarian pockets, epaulettes and button down drop waist dresses contrasted the cutesy organza a-lines and soft shades of pink, taupe and cream. It wouldn't be a Kiely Collection without a signature print and SS14 sees statement safari shapes in the form of giraffes and zebras. I don't know about you but I gots jungle fever.

My second show of the day would have been the remarkable Markus Lupfer. I'm a massive lover of Lupfer's sequin sweaters and was pleasantly surprised to find he'd gone for a different tact for SS14. Bright frenzied floral co-ords made up the bulk of the collection with a stunning pair of slik-lined abstract cut-out pieces pleasing my monochrome loving heart. A totes wearable teen dream for us adults, I can't wait to get my mitts on Markus next season.

Receiving my Ashish invite last week gave me everything so saying that I was gutted to be missing the show doesn't even cover it. I was GUT-TED. Infamous for taking a theme and dousing it in sequins Ashish SS14 was a sight to behold. Ripped 'denim', oversized polo tops, Coca-Cola branding and pimped out plastic bags the collection was inspired by a hungover trip to your typical British corner shop. No doubt Dalston will be heaving with de-draggled revellers donning viking crowns on Sunday morning.

So that was my LFW Day 2. Please believe me when I say I'll be backing Berocca like a goodun come February .

What did YOU do on LFW day 2???
