Festivals are to me what tit tape is to Jordan. Essential during the summer months. However due to my career taking a turn for the better and my bank balance a turn for the worse (damn you credit card repayments) the closest I've gotten to a field this year is driving by a few on my trip to visit Lereese up't North. But all is not lost folks - oh no - there's still time for your wellie-clad feet to jump head first into festival fun this September at the incredible independant event FARM Weekender.

Unlike the ten-a-penny mass profit massive production festivals FARM bills itself as the house party you've always wanted but could never be bothered to organise. But with tractors. And a chicken coup. Housing only a few hundred peeps FARM is a one night only mini-festival set in the sticks to the sounds of FARM's resident DJs and none other than Notting Hill Carnival legends Sancho Panza. BOSH. But not only will you be bussin' a move in a barn to BIG choons you'll also be plied with scran from local organic farmers Picks and Street Feast star Mama's Jerk Station, invited to hop into the forest hot tub or even book yourself in for a microflight! Yep. And just in case this didn't swing it for you the whole ting-a-ling is non-profit. The more tickets sold the more FARM fun to behold. Simples.

Sound good?
